what is microdermabrasion?

It is a non-surgical, safe and effective approach to skin care. The treatment involves very fine crystals of aluminium oxide to be sprayed onto the skin under pressure and vacuumed back at a fraction of a second. This technique delivers a gentle abrasion which efficiently removes the superficial skin layer without damaging the integrity of the underlying skin. With repeated treatments the younger softer skin moves to the surface and enhances your skin's appearance, giving you a fresher younger looking skin. It is a safe treatment to use on all skin colours and types.

You will see results after the first initial treatment. The skin will have a fresh pink glow. Improvement in the skin will continue throughout your treatment program. The more treatments you receive the better your skin tone and condition will improve.

The treatment is painless, most clients describe the sensation as light scratches on their skin. Immediately after the treatment this skin can be pink to slightly red, depending on the depth of treatment, but this usually subsides in less than an hour after treatment.
